Nike’s flair for merging iconic designs across categories continues in 2025, building on the momentum of crossovers like the Air Max Plus Mercurial Vapor 15, famously worn by Vini Jr. and Mbappé during the 2024 season. With blokecore and terrace wear maintaining their grip on sneaker culture, Nike’s latest creation pays homage to one of the most iconic Air Max silhouettes: the Air Max 95.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite "Air Max 95" now brings Sergio Lozano’s legendary design to the football pitch.
Previewed in kids’ sizing, the design faithfully translates the Air Max 95’s iconic elements to the Mercurial Superfly 10 Elite, creating a striking hybrid that bridges performance and style. A white mesh upper sits atop a true-to-OG gradient grey overlay set leading to a charcoal-colored footbed. Neon green accents shine through on the spike tips, Swoosh embroidery, and hidden eyestays. Nike’s attention to detail doesn’t stop there—the boots even come packaged in a special Air Max 95-inspired box, adding an extra layer of nostalgia for fans.
Tthe design is expected to be released in a full range of models, from indoor to Elite, in both adult and kids’ sizing and in multiple colorways.
Nike has officially unveiled the boot with Kylian Mbappe rocking it.
Expect these to launch in April 2025, as the Big Bubble OG will also hit shelves.
