Nike’s expanding Mind series continues to explore the intersection of design and neuroscience, and for Spring 2026, the brand is introducing a softer aesthetic to the lineup with the Nike Mind 001 “Pearl Pink.” The mule-style silhouette arrives as part of a wider seasonal push of pink footwear from Nike, delivering one of the most understated entries in the experimental series so far.
The Nike Mind 001 first debuted in late 2025 as part of Nike’s Science Department initiative, a project focused on how footwear can interact with the body’s sensory system. Rather than focusing on traditional performance benefits, the Mind line emphasizes subtle physical stimuli through tactile design — an approach most clearly seen in the distinctive outsole construction.
For the Nike Mind 001 “Pearl Pink,” the concept is wrapped in a monochromatic pastel palette. The slip-on build features a molded upper finished entirely in soft pink tones, complemented by a metallic mini Swoosh at the midfoot. Perforated detailing runs along the vamp, allowing glimpses of the glowing internal elements that sit beneath the surface.

Underfoot, the shoe’s signature podded outsole returns, with bright orange nodes arranged in a grid across the bottom. These raised pods create a gentle massaging sensation while walking, designed to provide sensory feedback through the foot — a core principle behind the Mind series’ neuroscience-driven philosophy.
Inside the footbed, branding for Nike Mind and the Science Department reinforces the model’s experimental positioning within the brand’s lineup. While the silhouette itself remains minimal, the underlying design language continues to reflect Nike’s ongoing exploration of how footwear can influence physical and mental responses.
The Nike Mind 001 “Pearl Pink” is expected to release during Spring 2026 via Nike.com and select retailers.
