Nike’s growing Mind series continues to expand, with a new iteration of the neuroscience-focused concept arriving soon. Following the debut of the Mind series, the next evolution arrives in the form of the Nike Mind 002 “Chalk,” a low-profile design expected to release in both men’s and women’s sizing this Spring/Summer.
Developed under Nike’s Science Department banner, the Mind line explores how footwear can influence mood and focus through sensory design. Rather than emphasizing traditional performance or comfort narratives, the project leans into calming stimuli and neurological responses — an approach reflected in both the silhouette’s construction and visual details.
The Nike Mind 002 “Chalk” arrives in a clean off-white finish that highlights the shoe’s sculpted, minimal upper. A series of perforations across the forefoot and midfoot reveals a glowing underlayer beneath, while a polished metallic Swoosh adds a subtle contrast along the sidewalls. The understated exterior allows the model’s most distinctive feature to stand out underfoot.
Across the outsole sits a grid of Hyper Crimson pods that provide both visual impact and tactile interaction. The rounded nodes create a massaging sensation as the wearer moves, aligning with the Mind program’s goal of stimulating sensory feedback through the foot. From above, the same orange tones glow through the upper perforations, reinforcing the shoe’s science-driven aesthetic.

Inside the shoe, branding for Nike Mind and the Science Department appears on the insoles, further cementing the model’s experimental positioning within the brand’s lineup.
The Nike Mind 002 “Chalk” is expected to release during the Spring/Summer 2026 season in both men’s and women’s sizing. Official Nike.com release details have not yet been confirmed.
