Nike Vapor Edge Kobe 6 “Coals” Hits the Gridiron on Christmas Day

Nike’s Christmas Day Kobe lineup is heading beyond the basketball court. Joining the upcoming Kobe 6 Protro “Coals,” the Nike Vapor Edge Kobe 6 “Coals” brings the matching black, purple, and yellow design to a football cleat.

The upper retains the Kobe 6’s familiar raised snakeskin texture, with a black base covered in scattered purple and yellow graphics. A two-tone Swoosh carries those colors across the side, while yellow Kobe branding marks the tongue. Black laces and a glossy heel counter complete the upper, with Bryant’s signature adding another yellow accent at the rear.

Underfoot, the basketball tooling makes way for a studded Vapor Edge plate. Purple and yellow detailing extends into the forefoot, while translucent sections frame the studs. The low-cut shape and sculpted heel maintain a close visual connection to the basketball model.
