Legendary hip-hop duo Outkast hasn't made new music since 2006, but the act made up of André 3000 and Big Boi continue to be culturally relevant 20 years later.
Recently, Outkast teamed up with Wyoming-based college gear manufacturer Class Trip and Nike to release a special capsule collection developed in partnership with the University of Georgia ahead of the Bulldogs taking on the Florida Gators in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 31. The range includes a varsity jacket, satin bomber, U.S. football jersey, and more—all blending the Outkast duo's personal style with Georgia Bulldogs-approved heritage.
"This [project] started over lunch with André," said Brian Francis, Founder, Class Trip, in an official announcement. "He was telling stories about driving up to Athens to watch the Dawgs. Then we saw Georgia vs Florida was headed to Atlanta for the first time ever. Georgia’s football and its music, together in the city that made Outkast. They put Atlanta on the map. This is our thank you," he added.
Class Trip's Creative Director, Jon Tietz, shared the following: "We wanted to create something as timeless as their music. Think of the Roses video. André and Big Boi, two crews, two completely different styles, same school. The yin and the yang. Every piece had to feel like it walked right out of that hallway."

Campaign photos for the project were captured in Athens and star six Nike NIL athletes: cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, safety KJ Bolden, linebacker Chris Cole, tight ends Kaiden Prothro and Elyiss Williams, and wide receiver Talyn Taylor. These up-and-coming athletes restaged familiar frames from Outkast’s photo history as part of the collection's visuals.
The Outkast U Collection launches Tuesday, Oct. 27, across SNKRS, Class Trip, and select Nike retail partners in Atlanta. The full collection follows on Wednesday, Oct. 28, via Nike.com and select retailers, as well as a game-day pop-up at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Oct. 31.
