Nothing has been confirmed by Nike at this stage, but coming from Ronaldo himself, the concept already carries weight.

The Mercurial line remains one of the most important chapters in Nike Football history, with R9’s original boots helping define the brand’s late-1990s football identity. Pairing that legacy with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack imprint would bring together Nike’s football heritage and one of its most influential modern collaborators.

The timing also makes sense. Following the success of Travis Scott’s Nike Phantom 6 collaboration, a Mercurial project feels like a strong next step for 2030.
