Where to Buy: Nike Zoom Hyperflight "Safari" Retro Basketball Shoe

Nike Basketball continues to rework the Zoom Hyperflight from the 2000s in ensembles that breathe new life into the silhouette. Most recently, the future-forward model surfaced in a makeover inspired by 1987's Air Safari.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield as a premium running shoe, the Nike Air Safari featured an ostrich-inspired pattern around its forefoot and heel (a similar design cue would eventually appear on the Air Jordan 3). That animal-reminiscent print has appeared on a number of releases throughout the years, and now takes over the Hyperflight's glossy upper.

Officially, the retro hoops shoe is clad in a "Black/Summit White/Ice/Total Orange" color scheme. Most of the shoe indulges in a simple black-and-white medley of tones, although its presentation is eye-catching as it includes dozens of oval-shaped spots across the top-half of the shoe.
