OVO Drops Kentucky Wildcats “Banner Years” Collection

October’s Very Own has officially unveiled the OVO x Kentucky Wildcats “Banner Years” collection, a capsule celebrating the historic legacy of the University of Kentucky basketball program.

Timed to arrive just before the start of March Madness, the collection pays tribute to Kentucky’s eight national championship seasons. Each piece draws inspiration from one of those defining title runs, blending collegiate heritage with OVO’s clean, premium design language.

The OVO x Kentucky Wildcats “Banner Years” collection features eight pieces in total, with each item referencing a championship era that helped shape the Wildcats’ storied basketball tradition. Classic Kentucky blue and white color palettes appear throughout the lineup, paired with refined graphics, subtle branding, and references to the program’s championship banners. Kentucky guard and future star Jasper Johnson helped usher in the collection as well, appearing in campaign imagery showcasing the capsule ahead of its release.

Rather than leaning into loud collegiate styling, the capsule keeps things relatively understated. OVO’s signature minimalist approach allows the heritage details to stand out, connecting the program’s decades of success with the brand’s contemporary streetwear aesthetic.
