Detroit's very own Darius Acuff Jr. is the newest member of the Reebok Basketball family. At just 19-years-old, the Arkansas Razorbacks guard has become a pivotal part of the NCAA squad—so much so that he's ready to enter the NBA by the end of 2026.
Allen Iverson, the legendary Philadelphia 76er and lifetime Reebok athlete, has already expressed Acuff Jr. is "The next HIM," according to a post he shared to Instagram.
Additionally, Reebok Basketball's official Instagram account has shared an image confirming the impending launch of the Reebok Acuff 1, the Michigan-native's debut signature sneaker. As reported by Nick DePaula on X, the release of this shoe will make Acuff Jr. the 11th rookie in NBA history to have his own signature model launch during his debut season. For Reebok, its bet on the Acuff 1 arrives 30 years after it bet big on Iverson and his Question franchise.
Expect the Acuff 1 to feature similar technology as the widely-celebrated Angel Reese 1.
