Sneaker Politics x Timberland Goes Western for Its 20th Anniversary
Sneaker Politics is celebrating 20 years with Timberland, giving the iconic 6-Inch Boot a Southern makeover across two distinct pairs: “Rodeo” and “Outlaw.”
The “Rodeo” leads with premium brown leather, Western-style stitching across the toe and sidewalls, and a bold cowhide collar. Brass hardware and a co-branded leather hangtag add to the look, with the latter commemorating Sneaker Politics’ 20th anniversary.
Its darker counterpart, the “Outlaw,” takes the same after-hours Western theme in a blacked-out direction. Soft pebbled leather covers the upper, while Western-inspired stitching remains throughout. An alligator-inspired embossed collar nods to Sneaker Politics’ Louisiana roots and gives the pair its own identity alongside the more traditional “Rodeo.”
Both boots carry anniversary details throughout, including a laser-etched Politics “P” inside the tongue, debossed leather insoles and co-branded packaging.
The concept centers on what happens after the work is done — taking Timberland’s workwear staple and reframing it through the nightlife, Western influence and Southern culture surrounding Sneaker Politics. Dallas rapper Bashfortheworld fronts the accompanying campaign.
