Polka dots are having a real sneaker moment, and adidas is now stepping into the pattern with a new Polka Dot Pack led by the Superstar and Adistar.
The motif has been circling the market for a while now. New Balance helped push the look forward with its 1906 releases in recent years, while Nike has leaned into the trend through a handful of Air Force 1 Lows and two Kobe releases tied to the Bryant family’s love of Disney. What once felt like a novelty detail is quickly becoming one of the more recognizable themes across lifestyle footwear.
adidas’ entry keeps things familiar by starting with two very different pieces from its catalog. The Superstar brings the classic Shell Toe side of the story, while the Adistar gives the pack a chunkier running option. With more pairs expected to follow, this looks less like a one-off and more like the beginning of a wider dotted rollout.
That should make updates easy as additional models surface. For now, the Superstar and Adistar are the first confirmed pairs from the adidas Polka Dot Pack, with release details still to come.
A release date has not yet been confirmed, but the adidas Polka Dot Pack is expected to arrive later through adidas.com and select retailers.
