adidas Unveils Club América's 26/27 110th Anniversary Jerseys & Jacket

Club América, Mexico's most-decorated football club, is celebrating its 110th anniversary. Its kit manufacturer, adidas, is celebrating the occasion by releasing a special-edition capsule that features a 26/27 anniversary jersey, graphic t-shirt, and Tracksuit done in vintage styles.

Founded in 1916, "Las Águilas" have been a mainstay in Mexico's top flight over the last century, attracting foreign talent and remaining a formidable opponent across international fixtures. Widely disliked by fans of other Liga MX teams, Club América has solidified its place in football and its partnership with the Three Stripes only reaffirms this as the sportswear brand categorizes the Mexican side as an "Elite club."

The 110th Anniversary Collection for "El Amé" harkens back to the club's origins, indulging in soft "Powder Yellow" and "Mystery Ink" tones that represent the side's azulcrema identity well. Trefoil logos appear across apparel, further tapping into a vintage aesthetic.

Naturally, the most important detail for a celebration of 100+ years is the club's crest. Found on the center of the chest on both short-sleeve and long-sleeve jerseys, the Club América badge used is from the late 1910s—specifically 1917-18. While simpler than the Mexican side's current emblem, the symbol represents a long history of winning on-the-pitch and inspiration off of it.
