Rapunzel Lets Down Her Hair on Disney's Princess adidas Handball Spezial

Disney and adidas Originals aren't done celebrating with the Disney Princess-inspired shoes for kids. Most recently, the duo has put together a purple pair of the Handball Spezial dedicated to Tangled's Rapunzel.

Earlier in the summer, The Walt Disney Company and Three Stripes presented the adidas Samba Jane "Princess Aurora" inspired by Sleeping Beauty. The trendy slip-on shoe features the Disney Princess on the insole and across packaging. The Rapunzel adidas shoe changes things up, placing the long-haired blonde character on the top-of-the-tongue, letting her hair down.

As with the Jessie Samba Jane collaboration that released ahead of the premiere of Toy Story 5, the purple pair features ornate elements fit for any Disney x adidas project: gold, shimmering accents appear across branding and laces, while 3-Stripes logos get pretty embroidered update. A scalloped edge around suede panels further nods to Rapunzel's purple dress.
