Nicknamed the “Starfish,” the upcoming VIRGINIA x adidas Watermoc continues Pharrell’s recent push into more experimental lifestyle footwear. While his Jellyfish silhouette leaned into exaggerated runner proportions, the Watermoc shifts the focus toward a lower, more utilitarian build, blending outdoor cues with the soft, sculptural design language that has defined the VIRGINIA line.

The model appears to feature a moc-style upper with layered paneling, a slip-on friendly shape, and a more grounded profile than the oversized Jellyfish. Its “Starfish” nickname fits the broader aquatic language Pharrell has been exploring with adidas, suggesting another playful entry in a growing lineup that moves between performance heritage, lifestyle design, and surreal natural references.
