AMIRI has opened its first flagship in Latin America, expanding its global retail footprint with a new location in Mexico City.
Situated on Avenida Presidente Masaryk in Polanco, the two-story, 2,863-square-foot space was designed under the direction of founder and creative director Mike Amiri.
The store blends AMIRI’s established retail language with local materials and craftsmanship. Mexican-quarried Santo Tomás marble covers the exterior and appears throughout the interior, paired with cream-toned travertine flooring, textured wall coverings and sheer drapes inspired by mid-century movie theaters.
Furnishings were produced in Mexico by local artisans, including sculptural timber seating, leather lounge chairs and custom tables. Works by Stefano Di Cristofaro, Emiliano Massimini and Alex Slonimsky are also featured throughout the space.
The opening gives AMIRI its first permanent retail presence in Latin America and marks another step in the brand’s continued international expansion.
AMIRI Ciudad de México is located at Calderón de la Barca 97 in Polanco and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
