ESENES WORLDWIDE x Gab Bois Bring the “Bag Boot” to Life

ESENES WORLDWIDE has partnered with Montreal-based artist Gab Bois to officially release the Bag Boot, turning a conceptual design into a wearable product.

The project stems from Bois’ original concept revealed in February 2025, where the idea of a grocery-style bag boot blurred the line between object and footwear. ESENES has now translated that concept into a fully realized silhouette, staying true to the original vision while refining it for everyday wear.

The Bag Boot is constructed from genuine brown paper bag leather, giving it the appearance of a folded grocery bag while maintaining structure and durability. Inside, a soft tan leather lining adds comfort, while a matching brown midsole and outsole keep the look consistent throughout. Additional details include webbing binding and handle-style pull tabs, reinforcing the bag-inspired design language.

The result is a piece that sits between functional footwear and conceptual design, leaning heavily into visual storytelling while remaining wearable.

The ESENES WORLDWIDE x Gab Bois Bag Boot is available now through esenesworldwide.com and gabbois.com. The pair is offered in US men’s sizing 4–14 in whole sizes only, with a recommendation to size up for half sizes.
