Skullcandy x Jae Tips Crusher ANC 2 Revealed

Jae Tips is stepping into the world of audio for the first time, teaming up with Skullcandy on a limited-edition Crusher ANC 2 headphone release arriving later this month.

Known for his colorful design language and celebrated collaborations across footwear and streetwear, the Bronx-born founder of Savior Worldwide has built one of the strongest collaborative resumes in the industry over the past few years. Following acclaimed projects with Saucony, New Era, and more, Jae Tips now brings his aesthetic into consumer tech through a partnership with the lifestyle headphone brand.

For the Skullcandy x Jae Tips Crusher ANC 2, the designer created a translucent emerald colorway inspired by vintage computers, gel-style Nintendo hardware, and early Apple desktops from the Y2K era. The design exposes portions of the internal hardware beneath semi-transparent layers, while tactile buttons and layered textures further lean into the retro-tech direction. Floral detailing — a signature element often seen throughout Jae Tips’ work — is also subtly incorporated throughout the headphones.

“For this collaboration, I was inspired by gel and acrylic Nintendos and the early Mac computers,” said Jae Tips. “My goal was to create something that I wasn't seeing anywhere else in the marketplace.”

Beyond the visual overhaul, the Crusher ANC 2 retains Skullcandy’s signature feature set, including its adjustable Crusher bass technology and active noise cancellation system. The model has become one of Skullcandy’s flagship over-ear offerings, blending lifestyle design with heavy low-end sound performance.

The Skullcandy x Jae Tips Crusher ANC 2 will retail for $259.99 and first launch through a special Manhattan pop-up event on May 19. A wider limited release will follow exclusively through Skullcandy.com on May 20.
