Nike's Football Heritage Inspires This "Off White" Air Jordan 1 Mid
The 2026 World Cup™ is set to begin on June 11. Jordan Brand, which is sponsoring Brazil's Away Kit, has prepped a football-inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid for the occasion.
At quick glance, the off white-colored pair is unassuming, falling in line with some of the eponymous label's seasonal offerings. Close inspection, however, reveals Nike Football-reminiscent logos on the tongue label, a detail that's also appeared on a Nike Tiempo-like Jordan 1 Low. Elsewhere the pair features padded, quilted panels around the collar, likely as a nod to the protective elements once found on goalkeeper jerseys.
The most-telling component of the AJ1 retro's football-connection, however, arrives via the colorful graphic printed on the insoles.

Those familiar with the partnership between Jordan Brand and the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF), Brazil's governing body of football, should recognize the action scene depicted on the insole. Michael Jordan's imprint released a boxy graphic t-shirt with the same graphic when the collaboration was announced in March. The graphic sees a Swoosh and Jumpman-branded pair of football boots striking a football as the word "GOAL" appears in the backdrop.
The off white-colored Air Jordan 1 Mid doesn't include any overt nod to the Brazil national football team or athletes like Vinícius Júnior, but the connection is there.
Enjoy detailed shots of the football-inspired AJ1 Mid ahead. Pairs are expected to release via Nike.com/Jordan before August ends.
