Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 Collection Gets New In-Hand Looks

Awake NY and Jordan Brand’s next project is starting to come into clearer focus, with new in-hand looks from @sneakerdenn offering the best look yet at the upcoming Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 collection.

First teased through early leaks and later previewed through Awake NY’s own Spring 2026 lookbook, the collaboration is expected to release in September 2026 and will center around two Air Jordan 6 colorways: “Midnight Navy” and “Playful Pink.” Both pairs continue Angelo Baque’s work with Jordan Brand following Awake NY’s Air Jordan 5 project, but this time the approach feels less tonal and more layered.

The “Midnight Navy” pair leads with a mix of deep navy, light blue, and royal blue panels across the upper, with pink contrast stitching running throughout. The blocking keeps the Air Jordan 6’s original shape intact but gives it a louder, more streetwear-driven finish. Red accents hit the lace toggle, Jumpman branding, heel pull, and midsole, while black overlays and cream-tinted outsole sections help ground the colorway.

The “Playful Pink” pair follows the same formula in a softer palette. Different shades of pink cover the upper, from the toe and overlays to the collar and heel, again paired with contrast stitching and red hardware. Like the navy pair, it sits on a black, red, and cream sole unit, giving the colorway a sharper edge despite its lighter base.

Both pairs feature Awake NY’s “A” logo debossed into the lateral side panel, along with Nike Air and Awake NY branding on the heel. A standout detail is the plastic hang tag attached near the heel pull, adding a collectible-style touch to the release.
