Britain's Aardman Animations has been delivering joy and laughter through beloved claymation franchises since 1976. As the studio celebrates its 50th anniversary, The LEGO Group will release a Wallace & Gromit Block Set.
Originally conceptualized by Sébastien Esnault, a Fan-Designer also known as Pidelium in the LEGO Ideas community, the project finally sees a release during Fall 2026. The Wallace & Gromit set—part of the "90s Throwback – The Next Chapter" challenge—features the dynamic duo riding their iconic motorbike and sidecar from the 1995 film, Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave.
LEGO Model Designers Tom Gerardin and Ellen Bowley turned the initial idea into an official 1,038-piece set that turns clay into plastic blocks that promote creativity and play.
"Beyond the characters themselves, this scene perfectly captures the spirit of Wallace & Gromit," shared Esnault. "It brings together everything that defines them: inventiveness, humor, friendship and a sense of adventure."
This 1,038-piece retro LEGO® display set measures over 9 inches (23 cm) tall, 9 inches (23 cm) long, and 7 inches (18 cm) wide. Iconic accessories included in the set are crackers, a yarn ball, and diamond in the motorbike seat hatch.
Other anniversary-celebrating releases from The LEGO Group consist of the Nike Air Force 1 Block Set by LEGO®.
Pre-orders are now open via LEGO.com. The Wallace & Gromit block set is priced at $100 and ships beginning Thursday, Oct. 1.
