Action Bronson's Signature New Balance 2811 Is on the Way
Since unveiling the New Balance 2811, New York City's Action Bronson has confirmed that the modern silhouette is his first, original design for the Boston-based brand. Numerous colorways are expected to land over the foreseeable future, but the running-informed model debuts in a "MIKROČPSKE" makeover on Saturday, July 18, as part of a private event held in Brooklyn.
"TO BE ABLE TO ADD MY OWN NUMBER TO THE NB BRAND IS A GREAT FEELING," Action Bronson wrote on Instagram.
Previous sneaker collaborations between the multi-hyphenate and New Balance were color makeovers of existing designs. With the NB 2811 "MIKROČPSKE," Action Bronson is establishing his BAKLAVA venture as a standalone partner that joins the exclusive ranks of developing a brand new number franchise for the heritage company.
Interested parties are invited to visit SPECIALIZINGINLIFE.com to buy a ticket for an event celebrating the World Cup™. The offer is only open to New York Tri-State area residents. The ticket gives entry to the July 18 event and a chance to purchase the "MIKROČPSKE" 2811 by BAKLAVA x New Balance. Only 300 pairs will be available at this early launch.

As with his recent New Balance 1890 capsule, the newly-surfaced footwear style opts for a technical execution. Much is still left under wraps, but the sneaker seems to blend cushioning from the New Balance 2010 with busy uppers from throughout the company's expansive running, training, and hiking catalogs. Likely part of a multi-item, "BAKLAVA"-branded collection, the previewed sneaker sees orange "N" logos on the sides and a predominantly black-and-grey color palette across the remainder of its build.
