New Balance Introduces the P400 Low Basketball Shoe
New Balance Basketball is ready to take over summer with the introduction of the P400 Low, a reworked version of the high-top silhouette co-signed by the likes of Cameron Brink.
The silhouette maintains all of the performance benefits jam-packed into the original model, but provides a shorter collar height to increase mobility without sacrificing a snug-fit around the heel. The nylon plate found in the inaugural New Balance P400 has been redesigned for a snappier transition. When coupled with the lower internal heights, the P400 Low offers enhanced ground feel, which works with the herringbone and wavybone tread patterns underfoot for reliable performance on-court.
"The P400 Low is engineered for athletes like Cameron who need to move freely without losing lock down," said Kevin Trotman, Senior Product Manager for New Balance Basketball, in an official press release for the product. "The lowered collar and N-Lock technology work together to give you mobility and support throughout the entire game."
The P400 Low is priced at $120 and will begin rolling out via NewBalance.com and select retailers come July.
