NFL x Nike Air Max 90 “Rivalries” Series Continues for the 2026-27 Season

Nike and the NFL are expected to continue their Air Max 90 “Rivalries” series into the 2026-27 season, with another lineup of team-inspired colorways on the way.

Following the first wave of NFL-themed Air Max 90 releases, the next chapter is expected to focus on eight teams: the Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, and Chicago Bears.

The collection once again uses the Nike Air Max 90 as the base, reworking the classic runner through each team’s colors. While full design details for each team have not yet been confirmed, first looks show that the pairs will feature team-specific color blocking across the upper, Swoosh, midsole, and Air Max unit area, giving each release a clear link to its respective franchise.

The “Rivalries” concept gives Nike a natural way to connect footwear with NFL fan culture, especially around division matchups and weekly game-day fits. Nike is leaning on one of its most familiar lifestyle models, making the Air Max 90 a wearable option for fans beyond the stadium.
