Wagyu and Nike are linking up for a new take on the Air Max 90, with the collaboration set to release on September 12 for $150.
Dressed in Black and Anthracite, the pair keeps things mostly understated while working in details tied directly to Wagyu. Black leather and textured suede cover the upper, while thick off-white rope laces break up the dark palette.
The standout detail comes through the Swoosh, which receives a brown marbled finish inspired by Wagyu beef. Custom branding continues across the sneaker, including Wagyu’s cow logo on the tongue and a custom cow graphic replacing the traditional Nike Air treatment at the heel.
That “Grade A” theme goes even further with a special Certificate of Authenticity included with the release. The certificate declares the sneaker as meeting the standards and criteria for the “highest quality grade in footwear,” playing directly into the Wagyu-inspired concept.

Additional details include red co-branded insoles, the phrase “Inclusive To All, Exclusive To None” behind the tongue, and Wagyu branding worked into the Air Max 90’s traditional midfoot window. A blacked-out sole unit and visible Air cushioning finish the shoe.
The sneaker will also release alongside Wagyu x Nike Tech Fleece, extending the collaboration across apparel with co-branded cow graphics, oversized Swooshes, stars, and Wagyu detailing.
The Wagyu x Nike Air Max 90 “Black/Anthracite” releases September 12 for $150.
