Nike’s Air Liquid Max is still in its early rollout phase, but the brand is already giving the futuristic Air Max model one of its sharpest looks yet with a new “Black & Aurora Green” colorway.
Already available on select regional Nike.com sites, the pair continues the model’s push as one of Nike’s more experimental Air Max entries. There’s no confirmed U.S. release date at this stage, but official images suggest this colorway is beginning to make its way through Nike’s global release calendar.
The design keeps the upper mostly black, allowing the model’s layered construction and sculpted tooling to do most of the talking. Mesh and synthetic overlays work across the upper, while flowing blue and teal linework wraps the lower half of the shoe, giving the profile a wave-like, almost topographical finish. A metallic silver Swoosh cuts through the lateral side, adding a clean hit of contrast against the darker base.
Underfoot, the Air Liquid Max makes its biggest statement. The full-length segmented Air setup arrives in a bright Aurora Green finish, extending from the midsole into the translucent outsole. Purple traction hits appear underneath, while matching blue branding on the heel and tongue adds another pop of color without overpowering the design.

The Nike Air Liquid Max “Black & Aurora Green” is available now on select regional Nike.com sites. A U.S. release has not yet been announced.
