Nike's 30th anniversary celebration of the Air Max 95 will go down in history. In addition to retroing the model's original "Neon" color scheme, the Oregon-based brand has taken the milestone as the moment to return the sneaker to its Big Bubble construction.
A handful of different makeovers have already surfaced with the seam-donning Air Max unit at the heel, signaling the new "old" build is here to stay. Firm details haven't been confirmed as of yet, but the Yu-Gi-Oh!-inspired project expected by the end of the year should also feature a plump Airbag instead of what had regularly released between 2006 and 2024.
A newly-surfaced pair clad in "White/Diffused Blue/Midnight Navy" expands the growing roster of Big Bubble offerings. Slightly-reminiscent of the design's iconic "Slate" look from 1995 (retros available via StockX), the impending launch features a mostly "colorless" finish that allows for the muted blue and light grey across the profiles to revel in the spotlight. Each panels' isotope-like pattern also injects more personality into the pair. Shades of blue also animate traditional airmax branding on the top of the tongue, as well as the aforementioned visible Nike Air units underfoot.
Enjoy detailed shots of the multi-colored pair below. The big bubbled-Air Max 95 should land via Nike.com by June for $190.
