Temetrius Jamel "Ja" Morant and the Nike Basketball team are expected to debut their fourth signature model together—the Ja 4—in the second-half of 2026. Whereas the NBA guard's first three silhouettes followed a relatively similar aesthetic, the next proposal is expected to go in different directions.
According to the quartet of Sneaker Files, Sneaker Market, and X users @zSneakerHeadz and @brandon1an, the Nike Ja 4 will live in Low and High editions. Reminiscent of some of the later Nike Kobe footwear styles, the more modern hoops franchise is reportedly launching in a short trim during the Fall 2026 season before landing in a taller finish throughout the holidays.
If the rumors turn out to be true, this will mark the first time Morant—or any Nike Basketball signature athlete of the last five years—has a high-top within his specific line.

The Swoosh conglomerate hasn't released details on the Ja 4 as of yet, but information from the aforementioned trio posits that the sneaker features a sock-reminiscent build. A Cushlon 3.0 midsole works in-tandem with a ZoomX sockliner (the former being found on the newly-unveiled Nike A'Two) to deliver responsiveness and comfort. The model's most-emblematic specs, however, are the "functional stability Ja frame" and "an upper that shifts for enhanced locked-in containment and support." The anticipated mostly-mesh upper should be accompanied by some sort of strap or system that allows personalization, though that remains under wraps.
Visually, the Ja 4 is expected to land with reverse Swooshes on the lateral profile, a mid-foot shank visible on this side, and a relatively thin sole unit that surely enables better court-feel.
Stay tuned for Nike.com launches of both Low and High editions of Morant's fourth signature shoe. The former should be priced between $130-$140, while the taller counterpart will retail for $180.
