Nike SB’s long-rumored ir Force 1 Low is finally coming into focus, with official images now revealing the modified skate-ready build ahead of its June release. After years of the Air Force 1 serving as a streetwear staple first and a court classic second, Nike SB is bringing the silhouette closer to the board with a low-profile rework built for a better feel underfoot.

The Nike SB Air Force 1 Low “Flax/Gum” keeps things familiar on the surface, leaning into one of Nike’s most reliable fall-friendly palettes. The upper arrives in a tonal Flax suede finish, covering the toe, quarter, overlays, and Swoosh in soft wheat-brown tones. Matching laces, liners, and midsoles keep the color blocking uniform, while the gum rubber outsole completes the workwear-style look from top to bottom.

Official images also confirm the updated branding package. Traditional Nike Air tongue and heel markings have been replaced with Nike SB Air Force 1 branding, signaling the model’s shift from lifestyle staple to skate-ready remix. A small metallic SB AF1 dubrae sits at the base of the laces, adding one of the few bright details on an otherwise monochromatic build.

While the design still reads as a classic Air Force 1 at first glance, the updates appear more functional than cosmetic. The pair is expected to feature improved Air cushioning underfoot, while the lower-profile stance and added padded collars should make the shoe more beneficial for skate use by bringing riders closer to the board. That follows the same logic Nike SB has applied to past crossover projects, including its skate-focused updates to other iconic Nike silhouettes.

The Nike SB Air Force 1 Low “Flax/Gum” will release on June 9 for $120 via Nike.com and select skate retailers.
