Nike Shox footwear might live in fashion-forward rotations today, but the technology debuted more than 25 years ago as a bold bet in the performance space. NBA legend Vince Carter co-signed the column-shaped cushioning years ago, cementing models like the Shox BB4 in the minds of countless hoopers with the help of his high-flying dunks.
Come Fall 2026, the silhouette is expected to return in its iconic "Black/Metallic Silver/Lapis" color scheme, in addition to the "Olympic" style worn during the Sydney Games in 2000.
Akin to other Nike Basketball reissues from the last two years, the Shox BB4 is slated to return in a one-to-one build, bringing the decades-old viz-tech and Nike's Alpha Project ethos to the modern day, allowing cult fans to enjoy the sneaker once more and uninformed consumers to discover another piece of the Swoosh's rich past.
Enjoy detailed shots of the sneaker's 2026 version ahead. The tri-colored Shox BB4 is expected to hit Nike.com by October for $190.
