Vince Carter's Nike Shox BB4 "Olympic" to Return June 2026

Nike Sportswear's retro run for the Shox series continues with the Shox BB4 Vince Carter wore during the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Reported by Kicks Finder, the news arrives amid a growing list of commemorative items from past Olympics being reissued. The "White/Midnight Navy/Metallic Silver"-clad sneaker was last in 2019 and harkens back to the Nike Alpha Project's ambitious efforts from the turn-of-the-century.

Although many hoopers tried to recreate the magic Carter displayed with the Nike Shox line, none could. The piston-cushioned basketball shoe emerged in handfuls of color schemes throughout its lifecycle, but its white-and-navy finish is cemented in the history books since it's the pair worn by the NBA guard while he dunked over 7-foot-2-inch Frenchman Frederic Weis in the Sydney Games. The moment has made the shoe one of the most memorable "Olympic" Nikes of all-time.
