Wish Atlanta Is Closing After 22 Years

After more than two decades in Atlanta, Wish Atlanta is preparing to close its doors.

Founder Lauren Amos announced that the longtime Little Five Points retailer will officially close on December 28, 2026, bringing an end to a 22-year run that helped establish Wish as one of Atlanta’s most recognizable destinations for sneakers, fashion, art, and streetwear.

In a message announcing the closure, Amos reflected on Wish’s role as more than just a retail space. Over the years, the store became a platform for emerging designers and artists while also bringing major global brands and special projects to Atlanta.

“Together, we built a community that proved retail could be about much more than products,” Amos wrote.

Wish opened as Atlanta’s creative scene was continuing to develop and grew alongside the city, with its Little Five Points location becoming known for everything from sneaker launches and collaborations to installations and events. The store also regularly used its space to showcase artwork and spotlight local creative talent.

A specific reason for the closure was not disclosed. Wish says the remaining months will instead be spent celebrating the people, partnerships, and moments that have shaped the retailer over the past 22 years.

Wish Atlanta will close permanently on December 28, 2026.
