adidas and Yohji Yamamoto returned to Paris on January 24, 2026, to present the Y-3 Fall/Winter 2026 collection at the iconic Palais d’Iéna. The show reinforced Y-3’s long-standing position at the intersection of sport, street, and expression — where performance innovation becomes a form of poetry.

For Fall/Winter 2026, Y-3 leaned into motion and velocity, drawing inspiration from motorsport and asphalt culture. That vision culminated in the unveiling of a transformational collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One team, translating the precision and tension of racing into sculptural silhouettes and technical tailoring.

The runway unfolded as an immersive performance. Models moved like a pit crew in formation, dressed in all-black boiler suits and race-adjacent layers, creating a sense of controlled chaos and instinctual movement. The presentation closed in a blur of speed, echoing the adrenaline of the cockpit.

Visually, the collection merged Y-3’s past and future. Custom prints paired long-time collaborator Chikami Hayashi’s artwork with sprayed graphics from Chito, warping the Three Stripes into unexpected forms. A recurring Beast motif appeared across footwear and apparel, adding a raw, primal edge.

Skate culture offered a counterbalance to motorsport. Denim returned for the first time in over a decade, while the Y-3 NISI debuted as the brand’s first fully vulcanized sneaker, worn on the runway by Mark Gonzalez. Additional footwear included the warped Y-3 TOKYO and the exaggerated Y-3 SUPERSTAR 3G.

As always, Y-3 proposed a uniform — adaptable, expressive, and rooted in movement. Fall/Winter 2026 pushes the label forward once again, where stillness turns to speed and sport continues to shape the language of style.

On Tuesday, March 17, adidas Y-3 announced a launch for its collaborative capsule with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1. Items were revealed via a campaign featuring Team Principal and CEO Toto Wolff, as well as drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. The collection includes moto-jackets, jerseys, and other apparel informed by the dramatic chiaroscuro of vivid racing lights.

The ground-breaking capsule will make an appearance by the entire Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team at the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, March 29. Products arrive to adidas.com and select shops earlier, on Thursday, March 19.
