Anthony Edwards’ adidas Superstar Pack Gets Wilder by the Pair
Anthony Edwards’ adidas line is no longer the new kid on the block. The AE 1 helped establish him as one of adidas Basketball’s most important names, the AE 2 has kept that momentum moving, and with the AE 3 already on the horizon, the brand is clearly building something much bigger around him. That now extends well beyond performance footwear, with the Anthony Edwards x adidas Superstar Collection giving his off-court catalog its boldest push yet.
Rather than treating the Superstar as a simple lifestyle add-on, adidas has built out a full seven-pair run (and counting), each one taking the shell-toe classic in a different direction. The result is less of a traditional athlete capsule and more of a personality play, using one of adidas’ most recognizable silhouettes as a canvas for louder textures, finishes, and color shifts.
The lineup starts with a metallic silver pair covered in a pebbled pattern, offset by black Three Stripes, a black shell toe, and purple heel detailing. Another pair leans darker with an iridescent upper, purple laces and stripes, and a soft pink shell toe and sole. A copper-gold edition adds cream accents and neon yellow laces, making for one of the more unexpected looks in the pack.
Elsewhere, the collection moves through a cleaner sky-blue leather pair with chrome Three Stripes, a green metallic style with cream detailing and a custom hangtag, and two black-based options. One arrives with a glitter-speckled finish, while the other uses a faux-croc texture with subtle green and purple hits.
Across all seven pairs, the Anthony Edwards x adidas Superstar Collection keeps the classic shell toe intact, but everything around it feels pushed further than expected. It is another sign that adidas sees Edwards as more than a signature basketball athlete, giving him space to build a wider footwear world as his mainline series continues forward.
The Anthony Edwards x Adidas Superstar Collection is expected to release in Summer 2026 through Adidas.com and select retailers. Pricing and sizing details have yet to be confirmed.
