Y-3 returned to Los Angeles to unveil its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, using the city as both a backdrop and a narrative device for the latest chapter in the long-running partnership between Y-3, adidas, and designer Yohji Yamamoto. Set across familiar L.A. environments—from athletic fields and public parks to alleyways and highways—the campaign follows the rhythm of the city from day into night.
Shot by longtime collaborator Oscar Foster Kayne, the visuals frame Y-3’s design language at its widest range. Sport-led silhouettes such as jerseys and performance layers sit alongside tailored pieces, while the footwear offering moves between minimalist sandals, low-profile shoes, and reworked basketball-inspired designs. Models move through the city with an ease that mirrors the collection’s balance between function and form.
Footwear plays a central role in the presentation. Styles including the Y-3 GSG9 Sandal, Y-3 Field, Y-3 Megabal, Y-3 GSG9 Lo, Y-3 Nizzastar Lo, Y-3 Regu 2002, and Y-3 Tokyo are shown in motion against L.A.’s varied landscapes, giving familiar silhouettes new context through setting rather than spectacle.
Alongside the main lineup, Y-3 also introduces a five-piece capsule rooted in its ongoing relationship with sport. Each piece references the number five, nodding to adidas athletes Zinedine Zidane, Jude Bellingham, Garrett Wilson, and Anthony Edwards. The set is rounded out by a baseball jersey based on an archival Yohji Yamamoto pattern, bearing the designer’s name.
The Y-3 Spring/Summer 2026 campaign launched on February 9, continuing the label’s exploration of sport, design, and place—this time, on the road in Los Angeles.
