    MLB Players’ Weekend once again gave players a chance to bring a little more personality to the diamond, and the footwear was easily one of the highlights.

    Across the league, custom cleats pulled from cartoons, hometown pride, charities, fashion, and personal interests, with everything from Rugrats and Tom & Jerry to Chrome Hearts-inspired Jordans showing up on the field.

    Here are 10 of the best cleats we spotted during MLB Players’ Weekend 2026.

    Willi Castro — Rugrats Air Jordan 1 Custom Cleats

    Willi Castro went nostalgic with a custom Air Jordan 1 cleat inspired by Rugrats, covering the pair in familiar characters and bright colors pulled straight from the animated series.

    Andrés Chaparro — “Uncle Phil” Nike Ja 3 Custom Cleats

    Andrés Chaparro brought basketball footwear into the mix with an “Uncle Phil”-inspired Nike Ja 3 cleat. The transformed Ja Morant’s signature model for the baseball field.

    Christian Franklin — Koi-Inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid Custom Cleats

    Christian Franklin opted for something more artistic with a pair of Air Jordan 1 Mid cleats featuring a koi-inspired design. Orange and white coloring runs across the upper alongside illustrated detailing, giving the pair a hand-painted feel.

    Yandy Díaz — Tom & Jerry adidas Custom Cleats

    One of the most playful pairs of the weekend belonged to Yandy Díaz, who stepped out in custom adidas Tom & Jerry cleats. The mismatched design puts the longtime cartoon rivals across each shoe with oversized graphics that are impossible to miss.

    Zach Neto — Professor Chaos Nike Custom Cleats

    Zach Neto looked to South Park for inspiration, turning Professor Chaos into a custom Nike baseball cleat. The comic-style graphics and character references made it one of the more unexpected designs of the weekend.

    Yerry De Los Santos — “South Beach” Air Jordan 1 Custom Cleats

    Yerry De Los Santos kept things sneaker-focused with a South Beach-inspired Air Jordan 1 cleat, mixing bright pink and blue accents across the familiar Jordan silhouette.

    Jac Caglianone — Wayside Waifs Under Armour Custom Cleats

    Jac Caglianone used Players’ Weekend to spotlight a cause, wearing custom cleats connected to Wayside Waifs, an animal shelter based in Kansas City. The design incorporates animal-inspired graphics while bringing attention to the organization on one of baseball’s biggest stages.

    Jazz Chisholm Jr. once again delivered some of the weekend’s loudest footwear, bringing out Chrome Hearts-inspired Air Jordan 11 and Air Jordan 3 baseball cleats. Cross motifs, metallic detailing, and custom finishes give the pairs a luxury-inspired look while staying rooted in some of Jordan Brand’s most recognizable silhouettes.

    Players’ Weekend continues to be one of the most fun stretches on the MLB calendar, giving players space to show more of who they are beyond their uniforms. The custom cleats have become a major part of that, turning the field into a showcase for everything from childhood favorites and fashion references to hometown pride and community causes.

    And with players across the league getting increasingly creative each year, the footwear alone gives baseball fans plenty to look forward to when MLB Players’ Weekend rolls around again.
